The Aluminum Association will soon have a new home in Arlington, Va.'s Crystal City.
The association announced Wednesday it was moving headquarters from the current location at 1525 Wilson Blvd. in Arlington to 1400 Crystal Drive on June 22. The group's new offices will be located northeast of the Crystal City Metro Station.
The Aluminum Association will occupy 6,300 square feet in the 14-floor, aluminum-clad office building. The structure has received gold LEED certification by the U.S. Green Building Council.
"As we enter a period of game-changing growth, the Association has the opportunity to emphasize our policy and market focus while maximizing the experience for our membership in a more modern office," said CEO Heidi Brock.
Commercial real estate services firm CBRE represented the association in contract negotiations.
